Wingecarribee Public Libraries (WPL) are excited to be joining the Big Summer Read, designed by Public Libraries Victoria to encourage children and young people to keep reading over summer.

The program is open to ages 0–18 and runs from 1 December to 31 January, with fantastic prizes up for grabs:

• $200 Bookshop Bowral Vouchers
• $40 Bookshop Bowral Vouchers 
• Statewide prizes offered by the NSW Public Libraries Association

HOW TO TAKE PART:

1. Register online using the link below and select Wingecarribee Public Libraries to participate digitally, OR

1. Visit any WPL branch to register and collect a paper-based reading record

Read anything you like—audiobooks, picture books, graphic novels, chapter books… it all counts! Listening to someone read to you also counts, as does rereading your favourites.

If using a paper-based record, please return it to your library by Monday 9 February 2026 to be eligible for both the WPL and NSWPLA prize draws.
