Angertainment: an evening with author Ed Coper

Wingecarribee Libraries are inviting residents to a free evening with author Ed Coper at Bowral Memorial Hall on Tuesday 4 August, for a thought-provoking conversation about his new book ‘Angertainment‘ and what it reveals about the way we live today.
In ‘Angertainment: How social media outrage ruined everything‘, Coper explores how online platforms shape the way we think, feel and connect, and how the constant pull of online outrage affects our daily lives. Part insight and part practical guide, the book offers readers thoughtful ways to navigate a noisy and fast-moving digital world.
A respected author and communications thinker, Coper is one of Australia’s clearest voices on the internet and the way it is reshaping how we share information. He is also the author of the acclaimed ‘Facts and Other Lies’.
The evening will include a discussion of the ideas behind the book, the themes that connect it to everyday life, and time for audience questions. It promises a rich and engaging night for anyone curious about the world around them.
Entry is free, but bookings are essential to make sure everyone has a seat.
