Spark Science Discovery Kits
These science kits are designed to bring the wonders of science and technology to children in our community. Our goal is to ensure that every child can explore and learn no matter where they live!
Eligibility: Any library borrower can borrow Spark Discovery Boxes.
Loan Period: Each kit can be borrowed for up to 2 weeks, with the option to reserve it for pickup at any WPL branch.
Renewal: One renewal is allowed per kit.
Supervision: All kits must be used under adult supervision, and their contents should be handled with care.
Return Policy: Kits must be returned when the library is open and handed directly to library staff for inspection. Borrowers are required to wait while staff check the kit’s contents against the description on the box.
Replacement Costs: If a kit or any of its pieces are lost or damaged, replacement fees will apply. If a kit cannot be used due to a missing or broken piece, the full cost of the kit will be charged.
Important for Parents/Guardians:
Please ensure Spark Discovery Boxes are returned in good condition—clean, complete, undamaged, and in their original boxes with labels intact.
Puzzles
Got a rainy afternoon? A family games night? Or just love the thrill of finding that one missing piece? Borrow a jigsaw puzzle from the library and let the fun begin!
Free to borrow and one renewal allowed per puzzle.
Puzzles need to be returned to a staff member at a branch. Please let staff know if you discover there’s a piece missing
