Join us on Monday 12 October for a day of Sydney Writers’ Festival Homegrown playbacks!

Couldn’t make it to Sydney? Don’t worry – come to Bowral as we playback some of the talks that occurred.

10AM-11AM: Holly Ringland: The World Beneath Her Feet

11:15AM-12:15PM: Writing Queer Sydney

  • Join writers Madeleine Gray, Fiona Kelly McGregor and Zoe Terakes as they discuss our familiar streets and writing Sydney’s queer past and present, with host Benjamin Law.

1PM-2PM: Suzie Miller and David Williamson in Conversation

  • Join esteemed Australian playwrights Suzie Miller and David Williamson as they reflect on putting society on stage and the shape of Australian theatre over the years. With Jo Dyer.

2:15PM-3:15PM: Library Books

  • Join international bestselling writers Susan Orlean and Pip Williams as they discuss the power of libraries for nurturing readers, writers and communities. With host Phillipa McGuinness.
