What is FOWL?

We work to support Wingecarribee Libraries and to promote its services to the community. 

What do we do?

We host regular author/speaker events and occasional workshops.

FOWL aims and objectives

  • To serve as a link between Wingecarribee Libraries and the local community;
  • To foster an interest in books, reading and writing;
  • To advocate to the local council, groups and individuals on behalf of the Wingecarribee Libraries; 
  • To sponsor special community events and literary activities for both children and adults;
  • To provide support for the libraries through practical assistance and fundraising;
  • To foster links with organisations with similar interests and objectives.


How do I become a member of FOWL?

Annual membership opens on 1 December each year and is $10 per year.
