Friends of Wingecarribee Libraries (FOWL) logoWhat is FOWL?

We work to support Wingecarribee Public libraries and to promote its services to the community.

FOWL aims and objectives

  • To serve as a link between Wingecarribee Public Library and the local community
  • To foster an interest in books and reading
  • To sponsor special community events and literary activities for both children and adults
  • To provide support for the libraries through practical assistance and fundraising
  • To foster links with organisations with similar interests and objectives

What do we do?

We host author talks and workshops, as well an annual book sale. Our events have been impacted by COVID-19 and we are working with the library to provide COVID safe plan for 2022. We keep in touch with members via a newsletter, and you can follow us @libraryfowl on Instagram.
