Changes to reservation notices from 1 January 2025

Wingecarribee Public Library is excited to announce that we’re upgrading how borrowers receive notifications about items available for collection.

We’ve listened and understood that the current system of calling borrowers about reservations is no longer the most effective way to reach our patrons.

From 1 January 2025 we will be migrating to email and SMS reservation notices only.

This means that when an item you have reserved is available to be picked up you will receive an email or an SMS from the library letting you know, rather than receiving a phone call.

No more missing phone calls from the library!

We’ll continue making calls about items ready for collection until the end of 2024.

Please let our friendly staff know whether you’d prefer to receive an SMS or an email about your reservations so we can update your library account and switch you to our new system now.
