New Loans Kiosks at Bowral Library

We're excited to announce that brand-new self-service loans kiosks have arrived at Bowral Library! Located adjacent to the circulation desk at the entrance, these kiosks make borrowing faster and easier than ever.

There are some upgrades to make the borrowing process easier for you, outlined below.

What's New:

• RFID Scanning: hold each item's cover against the scanner to register the RFID tag in the cover (not the item barcode)
  
• Faster Checkouts: The system now processes items efficiently
• Optional Receipts: At the end of your checkout, you can choose a printed receipt, an email receipt or no receipt

How to Borrow:

1. Scan your library card
2. Place the cover of your library item against the scanner. Scanning the item barcode does not borrow the item
3. Wait for the green tick to appear
4. Select "Done - No Receipt" or "Receipt" to finish
